The Orphanage-Chapter 2
As the sun rose in the eastern skies, Charlie’s Mom and Dad
were just getting up and starting their day. Charlie’s Mother and Father have
been talking about places to take and leave Charlie for over a year now. They
had discussed leaving Charlie at an Orphanage before but Charlie’s mother
wanted to save that option for a last resort.
Charlie’s Mother got up, put her robe on, and then walked to
Charlie’s nursery to wake him up and change his diaper.
Mommy Kim: Hello
my little sunshine….it’s diaper changing time….are you wet?
Mommy Kim gets Charlie out of his crib and allows him to
walk over to his changing table where she helps him up onto his changing table
and then lays him down onto his back.
Mommy Kim slowly peels back the tapes on Charlie’s diaper
and then pulls the front of his wet diaper down before she pulls it out from
under Charlie and then without rolling his diaper up, she tosses it right into
the large 32 gallon sized Rubbermaid trash can.
Mommy Kim: Now, I
am going to get you all nice and ready to go to a new school.
Mommy and Daddy have been talking and we think that it’s
time to get you…to a new school for special boys such as yourself. This school,
has a program just for boys and girls who need extra special care. You, will
spend all of your time there and then Mommy and Daddy can focus on their work
without hiring a Babysitter or a Nanny. The babysitter that you already have,
will be the one to take you to your new school and leave you there.
The school has plenty of living space for you according to
the brochure.
They also supply their own diapers for you…so that I don’t
have to any more. I can’t afford to pay for your diapers any more….you…are
going through…too…many of them each day. Since your babysitter, Angelica likes
you and you like her, she will make sure that all of your things are brought to
the school and that you are diapered in a dry, and very comfy diaper before you
go to your new school.
(DING-DONG) The Doorbell rings and Mommy Kim knows it’s the
babysitter; Angelica.
Mommy Kim: (To
her Husband in the bedroom next door) Honey, can you get the door???
Brian: (Charlie’s
Dad) SURE….
(DING DONG) The doorbell rings again.
Coming…….
The sound of the front door opening and Brian Greeting
Angelica and then inviting her in are heard in the background.
Back in the Nursery……Mommy Kim is just finishing putting
Charlie’s clean diaper on and then she helps him down from the changer just as
Angelica walks into the room.
Angelica: Hi
there Charlie….I think you will like your new school….and don’t worry, you will
be in good hands.
Mommy Kim:
(Pulling Angelica aside to talk to her about leaving Charlie at the orphanage)
Now, I have gathered up all of his 30 cases worth of disposable diapers, his 50
packs of booster pads, and all of his clothing, and toys as well as the two 30
gallon black trash bags full of his cloth diapers and plastic pants. All I
want….is to have you bring his wet diapers with him when you leave him there. They
told me that they will take everything that belongs to him. They also said not
to worry about bringing his Crib, highchair or the playpen. Just put everything
into your minivan and then bring it to the orphanage and then sign the papers
and then leave. You can also bring his sister Ali with him too. Make sure that
she has her thick pink and white disposable diapers on with six booster pads in
them too. All of her stuff has been bagged up and is waiting next to the
basement door.
Angelia: When are
they expecting the two?
Mommy Kim: They
are expecting Ali and Charlie today around 2:00 pm.
Angelica:
Ok…great….so…do I have to have them dressed a certain way?
Mommy Kim:
NOPE….wearing just their diapers is fine. Make sure that they have both of
their diaper bags, they each have two of them…one, for the cloth diapers and
the other for their disposable diapers. No, you don’t even have to clean them
up either….just get them into thick and comfy diapers, and then take them and
their things to the school.
If you get there after 3:00 pm, it’s too late. You will need
to bring them and their things to your place and then take them back to the
school around 9:00 am the next day.
Don’t need to feed them either, but DO…give them their
bottles of protein powder…because they are NOT on a solid food diet…as you
know.
Here are their birth certificates, here are their custody
forms filled out and ready to go, and I am putting them into their diaper bags
that have each of their names on them.
Um…I don’t want to be late for work at the office, so please
make sure that the two of them get to the school before 3..ok?
Mommy Kim kisses both Ali and Charlie goodbye and then
rushes out of the nursery, downstairs and then outside to the garage where
Mommy Kim gets into her BMW X1 series and then leaves.
Once Mommy Kim had left, Angelica got both Ali and Charlie
out to her 2012 Honda Odyssey where she buckled both Ali and Charlie into
their seats before going back into the house and getting all of their things in
large black trash bags and putting it all into the back of the van, even
folding the rear seats into the floor-board compartments to make more space for
more of their things. Once she got everything into her minivan, Angelica went
inside to take the large white bags full of both Ali and Charlie’s wet
disposable diapers and their wet cloth diapers as well. Once she got all four
of the white trash bags tied up and into the back of the van, Angelica closed
the rear door, got into the driver’s seat and started her van.
Ali: Angelica…where
are you taking us???
Angelica: Well, I
have a lot of errands to do today….and the first one is to get you two, over to
your new school.
Ali: But…Mommy
told me that I was going to live with her?????
Angelica: Sorry…I
guess she changed her mind. I am instructed to leave you there with Charlie
when we get there.
Then Angelica drove the long ways to the orphanage that was
out in the middle of nowhere, with no neighbors for six miles all the way
around.
Charlie kept looking out of the window as the scenery became
more and more farce.
Ali looked at Charlie and then she reached out and put her
left hand on Charlie’s right shoulder.
Ali: (To Charlie)
Don’t worry little brother, things will be fine. You will ALWAYS have….Me?
Charlie Looks back at Ali;
Charlie: (With tears
welling up in his eyes and his clenched lips trembling…) I want my Mommy……..
The minivan arrives at the dirt parking lot of the Orphanage
and then Angelica turns the minivan off and then gets out, closes her door and
then walks around to the side where she opens the right-hand side door so that
she can unbuckle Ali and Charlie from their disability safety seats. First, Ali
gets out and stands beside Angelica wearing only a pair of sandals and her
thick, crinkly, plastic-backed thick, bulky, white diaper with pink accents
(Leg elastics and waistband elastics with The Muppets on the taping surface)
Then Angelica helps Charlie own of the minivan and he is
also wearing only his Sandals and his Blue and white thick bulky diaper with
Blue leg elastics and blue waistband elastics, also with Muppets printed in the
taping surface.
Angelica then slides the door closed and then she takes both
Charlie and Ali (Ali in her left hand and Charlie in her right hand) and walks
with them up the short flight of cement stairs, up the walkway and into the
lobby of the “new school.”
Inside the lobby, there is another mother and a father who
are dropping off their diapered adult baby boy.
Another woman wearing a nurse’s outfit is talking with the
two parents as they tell the woman in the nurse’s outfit everything they need
to know before leaving.
The woman in the nurse’s outfit shakes the mother and
father’s hands and then they walk out. The woman in the nurse’s outfit then
walks up to Angelica, who is still holding Ali and Charlie’s hands.
Diane: (Woman in
the nurse’s outfit)
More to come soon…………..
